Environmental Law Committee
The Environmental Law Committee seeks to develop CLE programs covering environmental law topics of interest to general practitioners as well as to those who practice environmental law. The committee’s purpose is to raise awareness of the effects of environmental law on our everyday practices, and to bring to light the latest developments in environmental law that impact upon real estate law, municipal law, and related areas of practice.
This Committee of the Westchester County Bar Association is the premier forum for attorneys seeking to gain substantive and procedural knowledge of the environmental laws affecting the many practice areas encountered by today’s practitioners. This Committee is committed to provide members with the knowledge necessary to enhance professional skills and develop familiarity in the substantive areas comprising environmental law. This Committee offers particular emphasis on new developments in local and regional environmental issues.
We welcome suggestions of topics for future programs and offers to speak on topics of general interest. Please e-mail the Association with any ideas for topics or if you wish to participate in the work of the Committee.
