The Westchester Bar Journal is published annually, and has been published since 1956. It is the goal of the Bar Journal Committee to ensure that the Bar Journal remains a scholarly legal publication of the highest quality. The Committee endeavors to ensure that the Bar Journal provides members of the Association with informative and timely articles on numerous and diverse areas of law.
We welcome submissions to the Westchester Bar Journal from WCBA attorney members and law school students as well as non-member attorneys. Submission details are as follows:
The editors encourage the submission of Manuscripts for publication in the Westchester Bar Journal. All submissions should be forwarded electronically directly to the WCBA in one of two ways: 1) articles may be e-mailed as attachments to: email@example.com; or, 2) articles may be saved on a CD and mailed to the WCBA, Attn: Bar Journal, One North Broadway, Ste. 512,White Plains, New York, 10601. All articles should be sent in Microsoft Word or in Word Perfect format.

Articles should be between 1500-4000 words in length and all citations should
be written in accordance with a Uniform System of Citation published by The Harvard Law Review Association, and accuracy thereof verified by theauthor.
Generally, it is the WCBA's policy not to accept reprinted articles. If an author seeks to reprint an article, that author MUST first advise the WCBA in advance of the prior publication name and issue date. The author must also obtain from the original publisher written permission granting the WCBA such permission to reprint the article. It is the sole responsibility of the author to fulfill this requirement.
Publication of submitted material gives the WCBA partial copyright and, as holder of the copyright, the Association may consent to republication on Westlaw, Lexis-Nexis, our website, or other publications.
All articles should be accompanied by a brief biography and photograph of the author(s). Three complimentary copies of each article will be distributed to the author or divided among the authors, if there are more than one.
The editors reserve the right to edit and to accept or reject all manuscripts.
