Mock Trial Committee

The Mock Trial Committee is charged with organizing and running the annual mock trial competition in the County, which in turn is part of a larger State competition.  More than 35 high schools in the County participate in the trials, and members volunteer to participate as "coaches" and as judges.  We work closely with the State Department of Education and the State Bar to develop the program during which we help to match lawyer advisors with particular schools to prepare for the competition and make sure we have sufficient judges available for the trials which are held in the court house.

This past year, we were fortunate enough to have numerous attorney volunteers and the level of the competition was extremely high. We welcome participation in this program, and anyone wishing to volunteer services as a coach or judge should contact Clarissa Dayton at the WCBA Office by e-mailing
